Runes and Runestones have long fascinated me.

The earliest Runestones date back to the 4th century, and have been discovered all around the world. They were carved to memorialize a journey, predict an outcome, mark a territory, commemorate the beginning of a new age, celebrate powerful individuals or pay homage to an entire family.

For Bobby and me, sculpting contemporary Runestones opened a world of possibilities – we could create meaningful, powerful works of art that reflect individual life journeys on many levels. By personalizing the symbols to each collector, Runestones can depict major life events, transitions, achievements, and lessons learned. They can also honor families, and celebrate love – or, simply serve as a visual reminder of one’s life’s path.

Detail, Runestone

Here’s the best part: Because Runic text is so potent, Runestones supercharge their environment with the energy and wisdom of the Rune symbols themselves. Install one in a special location on your property and you’ve now created a hugely powerful, energetic vortex that connects directly with the Universe.

Our Process:
Bobby and I are passionate about engaging our collectors in the creation of their Runestone as this makes the final piece especially meaningful. Whenever possible, we work together in choosing the fossilized bluestone from our local quarry, offering input on the final location where the sculpture will reside.

Most importantly, each person’s story is specifically represented by the Runic text that is carved into the stone. The best part? Helping our collectors understand each and every symbol. This gives them the ability to deeply reflect on the past; integrating the energy of the symbols that can now lead them into the future.
