MONTHLY BREATH OF FRESH ART: HUSBAND AND WIFE ARTIST TEAMS

This month’s Breath of Fresh Art pays homage to the husband and wife artist teams that came before me and my artist husband, Bobby Jacobs.

Alfred and Georgia

There are many, and among my favorites are Alfred and Georgia, Frieda and Diego, and of course, Picasso and Francoise. Bobby and I are humbled by their greatness and the example they set about how love opens us up creatively. We are grateful to translate our passion and partnership into art and giving back through The Spread Your Wings Project, our non-profit devoted to arts and healing. Because we both love nature, our work is also very complimentary.

Bobby and I love working separately and together. In the above photo, he sculpted the angel wings and we collaborated on the labyrinth and Runestone. The amazing thing about Bobby is that he can build anything. From massive angel wing sculptures to hand-carved vessels to building every piece of my art, his engineering and construction skills are unmatched. Working with us allows you to be visionary as you like: you can trust our professionalism and Bobby’s perfectionism to give your clients the results they expect. Feel free to inquire about our existing art, scope of skills or with any questions. For a fun break, watch some videos of Bobby as he creates, here on our farm in upstate New York. You can also follow us on Instagram for regular updates and check out my Joy of Creativity blog for quick, proven creative practices that integrate healing and the arts.

I hope you have enjoyed this month’s “Breath of Fresh Art,” and are moved to share our work with anyone you think might find it inspiring. Bobby and I are committed to communicating the power of the arts and art therapy, and greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you so much,

Elizabeth Bryan-Jacobs
